Website Terms

Effective and last updated: September 7, 2026

These Website Terms govern your use of coptechnology.us. Separate written agreements govern every Discovery, consulting, pilot, software integration or managed service provided by COP Technology.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you use the website on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the website. The site is intended for business users who are at least 18 years old.

2. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through the website and is incorporated into these terms by reference.

3. Informational purpose; no professional relationship

Website content describes COP Technology's current perspective, capabilities and possible engagement paths. It is general information and is not legal, financial, security, accounting or implementation advice. Submitting a form, receiving a response or speaking with us does not create a client, advisory, fiduciary, confidential or other professional relationship. An engagement begins only when the parties sign a separate written agreement.

4. Illustrative scenarios and no performance promise

Product screens, operating events, decisions, metrics, workflows and business outcomes shown on this website may be illustrative. They are not promises, guarantees, reported customer results or representations that every deployment will produce the same outcome. Any scope, deliverable, price, timeline, security requirement, service level or performance commitment must appear in a separate written agreement.

5. Contact submissions are not confidential

Do not submit trade secrets, credentials, personal financial or health information, regulated data, client data, source code or other sensitive or confidential information through the general contact form or unsolicited email. We will protect personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, but a submission is not subject to a duty of confidentiality unless COP Technology has agreed to that duty in a signed written agreement.

6. Intellectual property and permitted use

The website, brand, copy, graphics, workflows, designs and other materials are owned by or licensed to COP Technology and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. COP Technology grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to view the site for legitimate business evaluation. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, frame, scrape, reverse engineer or commercially exploit website materials without written permission, except as applicable law permits.

7. Acceptable use

You may not interfere with the website; attempt unauthorized access; probe or circumvent security; introduce malicious code; overload infrastructure; misuse the contact form; impersonate another person; harvest information; or use the site in violation of law or the rights of others.

8. Third-party services and links

The website may rely on or link to third-party services. COP Technology does not control those services and is not responsible for their availability, security, content or privacy practices. A link does not imply endorsement, and your use of a third-party service may be governed by its own terms and policies.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, this website is provided “as is” and “as available.” COP Technology disclaims all express, implied and statutory warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and makes no warranty that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, current, complete or suitable for your needs.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, COP Technology and its owners, personnel, contractors and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, opportunity, goodwill or business, arising from or related to your use of or reliance on this website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

11. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. State and federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Website Terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

12. General provisions

If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms constitute the entire agreement concerning use of this website and do not replace a separately signed agreement for COP Technology services.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law. Questions may be sent to info@coptechnology.us or directed to +1 773 997 1202.
